By Bruce Bell
We're eagerly awaiting the new line of Wilson racquetball racquets for 2011. BLX refers to the addition of Basalt fibers woven into the frame for a smoother signal reaching the hand and clean feedback for the perfect feel. Already a huge success in Wilson's tennis racquets, BLX technology should make for a very strong lineup from Wilson for racquetball.
How do they look? The frames, with a new rounder head shape and "Control Base", a wider open throat will provide a larger sweet spot and more torsional stability. A combination of Articulated Grommets and Power Holes produce a supremely comfortable, explosive shot.
What are they called? The Warlock BLX (175g), the Sword BLX (185g), the Lockjaw BLX (160g), the Rant BLX (170g) and the Force BLX (190g).
PRE-ORDER STARTING 5/28...BLX racquets available to ship early to mid August
